Our History

The brainchild of serial entrepreneur Don Emilio Zinno, VIP Internet Radio is almost as old as the Internet (well, sort of!)  Conceived of in the early 2000s, it was officially registered with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office on January 19, 2011.  Two years later on April 11, 2013, Zinno officially registered the trademark, VIP Internet Radio as well. 

After a period of time determining the direction, type of content, parameters for hosts and strategy for success, the VIPinternetRadio.com web site was initially launched in mid-2016.  It underwent a series of updates and content was added as a furious pace initially as more and more people came on-board. 

There was only one problem.  The consistency that Zinno had hoped for in the form of regular shows was not coming to fruition. Many podcasters that initially committed to producing new content on a regular basis failed to deliver.  Stale content was not something that Zinno wanted to have, and so he realized it was time to re-evaluate and so VIP was put in a holding pattern for a brief period as the partners began formulating a way to better position the company and its podcasting partners for success.

At the end of 2022, with the pandemic behind him and with a plethora of new podcasts sprouting up every day, Zinno knew that it was finally time to re-launch with the knowledge gained from the early days.

Welcome to VIPinternetRadio.com version 2.0!  We are proud to have created a modern look and feel, simple navigation and extensive compatibility with many major as well as minor streaming and podcasting services.  Being able to integrate YOUR content into OUR station means that you have a seamless process that maximizes your brand’s visibility at your disposal.  Having your podcast on VIP Internet Radio is much different, and much more exclusive than having your show on a huge platform like iTunes or Spotify.  Those are important platforms, but they are not stations.
