Episode 30 Teruni Lamberg on Searching For Integrity

Teruni Lamberg is an Associate Professor of Elementary Education at the University of Nevada, Reno. She has a passion for teaching and taught in Arizona for several years prior to completing her doctorate at Arizona State University. She ended up doing a Post Doctorate at Vanderbilt University. The last 12 years, her work shifted to supporting teachers to refine their math teaching skills so that it become more efficient, effective and impacted student learning. She moved to Nevada, where she became the Principal Investigator of the Northeastern Nevada Mathematics Project, a Math Science Partnership Project. This work involved working with elementary and middle school teachers around the state in a large geographic area. This is when she started working on this book in order to develop research based tools to support teachers so that teachers could engage in sustainable professional development.
